You can add snapshots to a Vertex Story if you have access to the model that was used to create the original story. If you don’t have access to the model, contact the story creator so that they can share it with you.
- From the Story Overview, on the Snapshots tab, click Add Snapshots.
Note: You can only add snapshots that were already created in the model viewer. If you need a new snapshot, use the link to the model in the story and create the snapshot in the associated model before returning to the story to add it.
- Select the snapshots that you want to include in the story, and click Add.
In the following image, Revised outer rings and Fan housing are selected to be added to the story. The gray tile, Generator xsection meas..., indicates a snapshot that is already in the story.
All story collaborators can now see your snapshots in the story.
- From the Story Overview, in the lower-right of the screen, tap Add Snapshots .
Note: You can only add snapshots that were already created. If you need a new snapshot, close the story and create the snapshot in the associated model before returning to the story to add it.
- Select the snapshots that you want to include in the story, and tap Add.
In the following image, Intersect and Barrel are selected and are added to the story. The gray tile, Inside fan, indicates a snapshot that is already in the story.
All story collaborators can now see your snapshots in the story.
