- To turn on the markup tools, on the toolbar, click Add Markup
.
- Use the following markup tools to start drawing:
- Arrow
- Ellipse
- To draw an ellipse, drag to draw.
- To draw a circle, hold Shift as you drag to draw.
- Freeform
- Arrow
- To resize markup, select it and then drag the sizing points. To maintain a circle, hold Shift while dragging.
- To delete a markup, select it and then press Delete.
- Do one of the following:
- To save the markup you created, click Done.
A snapshot is automatically added to the Snapshots panel, and the markup tools turn off.
- If you don’t want to save the markup you created, click Cancel.
The markup tool turns off and all markup is removed.
- To save the markup you created, click Done.
- If you want to delete all of your markup after it's been saved, you can delete the snapshot that’s associated with the markup.
Note: Currently, once your markup is saved to a snapshot, you can’t add additional markup or edit or delete individual markup. You must do this prior to saving markup.
Currently, you can only draw 2D markup on a tablet when you’re in landscape mode. Support on mobile will follow soon.
- To turn on the markup tools, tap Add Markup

Note: If Add Markup is inactive, simply tap the background. That takes you out of the snapshot you were in. - Use the following markup tools to start drawing:
